Knowledgeable, Skilled Specialists Make the World Their Workplace

知識と実践のスペシャリストが世界をフィールドに活躍

Some of the instructors at Kanazawa University are researchers into some of the world's most advanced technologies: our researchers developed the world's fastest atom force microscope, as well as the world's first method for detecting digestive organ cancer using a blood test; and we carry out research into organic thin-film solar cells thin enough to be worn on clothing.

We also use our research capabilities to contribute to society and social exchange on a global level; for example, we assisted in restoration of mural paintings at the Basilica di Santa Croce in Florence, Italy, and we conducted an environmental survey of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
